Dearest Reader,

I’m 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐑𝐲𝐚𝐧, based in Austin, Texas. I’ve always been drawn to things that carry a point of view — objects, places, images, and ideas shaped by intention.

My professional life has been shaped by nearly a decade of experience in media, marketing, and advertising. Today, I work in paid social at WPP Media, where I lead work at the intersection of media, culture, technology, and human behavior. Campaigns under my strategic leadership have received global recognition from Cannes Lions, the Effies, and the Festival of Media — experiences that have deepened my understanding of what makes an idea resonate and how thoughtful decisions can shape the way people see, feel, and respond.

That instinct follows me outside of work. I have always noticed the details: proportion, material, patina, typography, architecture, the composition of a room, or the evidence of a hand behind an object. I collect decorative objects, archival books, clocks, crystal, porcelain, brass, and pieces from storied houses — not according to category, but according to instinct.

Formulations is a record of that way of seeing — of art, design, travel, photography, and objects with a past. It is also, in some sense, a record of becoming: what I notice, what I value, what I learn, and what I hope to create next.

The values I return to are simple: Authenticity, Integrity, and Growth. They shape the way I work, the way I lead, and the life I continue to build.
